However instead of throwing out the food; and i for one don't like to waste food, i decided to take the cooked bananas and make some banana bread... Something I've not made for a looong while but it was something that i've always enjoyed making and eating^^
So off i went cooling down the mushy banana's and i added eggs to it and flour, Mixed it all up and baked it in my make-shift mould for my banana bread. Results were kinda surprising(i finally realised how out of practise i was with making it). It became something like a malay type kueh aka. Bingka Pisang hehe;p
Well for those that aren't quite sure what a bingka is; its a typical malay dessert you would find in Malysia, Brunei & Singapore however its also one that's kinda rarely seen since its quite perishable so its not really that advisable to place it for sale for long periods of time - read food poisoning - since it contains milk and eggs; however mine was lactose free hehe;p
Now to try and find a recipe to make a flourless one.... Wonder where i'm gonna find that....
