Well here i was the other day, was so excited that one of my best frens just flew into town... After a quick dinner (which our times got mixed up, because of her earlier appointments) i finally caught up with her and the family at Sanur in takashimaya..

Mind you, its my first time dining in there, i enjoy Indonesian food, however, the best ones are usually found in the stalls - Sanur is more towards the middle class dining scenes hehe;p Interesting meal we had, telur goreng, crispy squid, rojak (well something like dat, just kinda forgot the name) and ayam bakar...
After dinner, we headed back to the hotel and decieded to have a quick catch up of whats what and whos what from back home (being away can kinda make u feel as a foreigner - even for your own hometown haha!) Before that we went about ordering our drinks; she order a pot of chamomile tea and i thought i should treat myself (been hectic with work), I ordered a nice cup of roman coffee. Mind you its only called roman coffee because of the galliano, if it were to be with rum, then it'll be jamaican, vodka - russian and so on and so forth... hehe;p
When the drinks cames, i was very surprised with what was served with my coffee - it was a crystalised sugar stirer where you just dip it and stir - cool huh? (I felt so left out from the new and hip things you find in the food industry -_-'') Its interesting to find all the ingenuity that goes with the current advancements of the food industry, i felt like i needed to expand more of the food scouting to see new and exciting things... Well its a short post gonna sign off fro now just a little something to share hehe;p
