Cravings for Tarts

Something that i've not had for awhile, and i do mean a long while is custard tarts!!
Don't let the picture fool you, it actually tastes alot better then it looks, and this was taken way back when i was still in Brunei, before i decided to up and leave to Singapore for work commitments.

Still can taste the roughly chopped sweetcorn mixed together with the creamy custard filling and its soft and crumbly pastry (well more of a mixture of sweet and short pastry - the fact that its not even done with lard to achieve that texture is even more amaxing to me!!) Still... I can only wish my friends from back home would be willing to bring some over for me when they do come to visit me in the next couple of months hehe;p

Oh well now to find something similar to this to fill the void here in Singapore hehe... that reminds me, haven't been doing much exploring round the island since i got here...
